Thirty groups each made up of of four design students were given an object, a large spool of thread and a stack of thin white paper strips. Ideas and thoughts connected to the potential history of the object (design, production, use stories) were noted on the strips of paper, folded and attached to the artifact by thread wound round and round. A 40-minute collective - contemplative - wrapping process. MEANS OF SURPASSING BARRIERS TO SUSTAINABLE DESIGN.
